I confini sono linee che separano, che dividono, allo stesso tempo però sono linee che uniscono perché sono il punto di contatto tra due entità. Ciò significa che ciò che è da questa parte non è diverso da ciò che è al di là. Da questo pensiero è nata la serie Borders, dove masse di persone identiche sono costrette all'interno di limiti sia fisici che mentali e non hanno la possibilità di entrare in contatto con altre persone uguali a loro ma che per ragioni diverse sono dall'altra lato della linea o, come in Borders 7, sono vicini ma c'è sempre un limite mentale che impedisce una vera condivisione con i nostri simili.
The borders are lines separating, dividing, at the same time, however, are lines that unite because they are the point of contact between two entities. This means that what is on this side is no different from what is beyond. From this thought the Borders series was born, where masses of identical people are forced to the inside of both physical and mental limits and do not have the possibility to get in touch with other people equal to them but who for different reasons are on the other side of the line or, as in Borders 7, they are close but there is always a mental limit that prevents a true sharing with our fellow men.
